Handicap League
Concept and Rules
If a player has played in our previous
handicap league, then their previous
handicap will be used as their initial
handicap. Otherwise, initial
handicaps will be assigned based on
their USATT rating (estimated for
non-USATT members).
At the beginning of each league session,
round-robin groups of four to six people
will be formed. Groups will be of equal
strength through a “snake system.” The
winner of each group will advance to
play in a single elimination play-off.
League Schedule
League season runs from July 10th to
August 28th (eight weeks total). League
sessions will be held every Thursday
evening starting at 6:45 PM. The club
will be open at 6:00 PM for practice.
Cost
The cost is $8 per person per session
with $1 going to the nightly prize pool.
As an incentive, the first league
session (July 10th) will be half-price
at $4, with $1 going to the nightly
prize pool.
Prizes
Small cash prizes are given each nightly
session. Winner gets 60% of the prize
pool. Runner-up gets 40% of the prize
pool.
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded at the end of
the entire league season. Trophies will
be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
finishers based on their overall win
percentage. Players must compete in at
least six (6) of the eight (8) league
sessions to be eligible for trophies. A
trophy will also be awarded for the
