Paddles/Blades: You need to provide (if you don't
have one, we'll find something for you to play with) |
PLAYING FORMAT
OPEN PLAY:
We have eleven (11) tables available for open play.
We use the "challenge" method for our playing format
(a.k.a. king-of-the-hill). To get on a table, you
lay your racket next to the table you wish to challenge.
This indicates that you are challenging the winner of
that match.
LEAGUE PLAY: We have twelve (12) tables
available for league play. Please visit our league page
for more details.We play by USATT rules. To win a
match, you must win three (3) out of five (5) games at
eleven (11) point games, alternating serve every two (2)
points. Please visit the USATT website for the
official rules. |
PROFESSIONAL COACHING (Currently
unavailable)
Would you like to learn how to play table tennis the
"right way?" Professional coaching is available
by two former World Champions Li Zhenshi and Zhang Li.
From beginning to advanced, the Li's are able to instruct
players from all levels of play. The Li's are available
every Sunday from open to close; however, reservations
are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Please
contact us if you have any further questions. |
TRAINING GROUPS
We periodically conduct table tennis training groups
(from beginning to advanced). Currently, we offer
three training groups to accommodate your needs:
Learning Training Group,
Thursday 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM. Cost is $14 per
person per session.
Tournament Training Group,
Thursday 7:45 PM to 9:15 PM. Cost is $14 per
person per session.
Junior (Youth) Training Group,
Sunday 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Cost is $2 (open play
fee)
